The Code of Good Practice is an internationally recognised management tool that helps humanitarian aid and development agencies enhance the quality of their human resources management.

The Code provides a comprehensive and sector specific framework relevant to organisations of any shape or size.

The Code is the result of years of international collaboration by a wide range of NGOs, international organisations, public bodies and private sector firms.

As a management framework, it is also an important part of agencies’ efforts to improve standards, accountability and transparency amid the challenges of disaster, conflict and poverty.

The Code is available in many languages - http://www.peopleinaid.org/code/
