Trustee - treasurer (voluntary positon)

Keeping Children Safe is looking for a Treasurer to join our board of Trustees. The position will maintain an overview of the Keeping Children Safe's affairs, ensure its financial viability and ensure that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. This a key role on the board of a small but growing charity. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship. Have solid financial qualifications and experience and ideally some experience of charity finance, fundraising and pension schemes. This is a voluntary governance role and the post will be required to attend four Board meetings a year (most of which will be in the UK, travel costs are provided).

Keeping Children Safe provides standards and guidance to international development and humanitarian organisations to help them prevent the risk of abuse and exploitation of the children they work with.  It was formed in 2001 by some of the leading international development agencies in response to incidences of abuse and exploitation of children that were arising as a result of organisations work with vulnerable communities.  Download further information and an application form below.
