Membership

Keeping Children Safe is a membership network of organisations working together to increase safeguards offered to children.

By joining Keeping Children Safe your organisation will be making an important step to ensure the children  you work with are always kept safe. Membership benefits also include

  • Experienced support on policy and practice related to child protection
  • Members only section of the website containing case studies, components of the toolkit and regular e-news
  • Opportunities to share learning through on-line forums and network meetings
  • Discounted rates on services delivered through our training and consultancy arm
  • Members will be recognised as setting or working towards good practice on child safeguarding measures
  • Confidence that you as an organisation are doing all you can to safeguard the children you work with.

Membership categories:

  1. Full member compliant – membership open to existing committed members who have participated in an audit process which has confirmed the organisation has effective safeguarding measures in place.
  2. Full member committed – organisations which can demonstrate effective safeguarding measures and are seeking to influence others to do the same.
  3. Associate member  -  organisations working actively to increase their own safeguarding measures. Associate members should work towards Full member committed within 3 years.
  4. Technical member – organisations providing technical support and advice on child protection issues and safeguarding measures

Membership fees are based on an organisation’s annual income as set out in the table below.  Fees are calculated on a pro rata basis and will be required on April of each year
