KCS in Eastern Europe

To bring you the most appropriate technical support, which takes into consideration your country’s legal and cultural contexts, Keeping Children Safe is developing regional hubs around the world. These are partnerships with prominent local organisations who have the expertise and knowledge to deliver our child safeguarding support when you need it, where you need it, and, if needed in your own language.

All of the regional hubs go through a rigorous vetting process, followed by intensive training to make sure their designated staff are able to deliver Keeping Children Safe’s capacity building services. Keeping Children Safe continuously monitors and evaluates the delivery of the services to ensure that they are of the highest quality.

Our regional hub for Eastern Europe is the Centre for Inclusive Education (CIE). CIE is a well-known and respected nongovernmental organisation based in Sofia, Bulgaria (http://cie-bg.eu/cgi-bin/index.pl?LANG=en&changelang=yes ).

Whichever sector your organisation works in – governmental, private, or civil society -- CIE can strengthen your child safeguarding capacity in a number of ways:
